The Radical Practicality of Reparations

A reply to David Frum who thinks affirmative action ( what affirmative action?) in the form of The Philadelphia Plan is reparations enough. Ta-Nehisi Coates takes him to task.

OUR COMMON GROUND Omnibus‘s insight:

Well, we all knew it was going to happen. These folks have lost their minds with TA-NEHISI COATES "The Case for Reparations". Here David Frum attempts to defend the indefensible. And Ta-Nehisi Coates refutes his silliness.

Read "The Case for Reparations" here  http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2014/05/the-case-for-reparations/361631/

And if you have time to waste, read Frum’s feeble attempt to dismantle logic, and demonstrates that he views reparations only in a very narrow context, no matter how much truth before him.  http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/06/the-impossibility-of-reparations/372041/

I suppose there are those who feel that "reparations" are exclusively only for them. I remember when a certain group was offensive when we started using the term, "African Holocaust".
