Why do I think the black community is beyond saving? Well, for the same reasons why I think America is beyond saving: rank stupidity. I like to use the example of Barack Obama because so many black people love him like he’s the father they never knew but always hoped would come walking through the door. Did that hit too close to home for many of you? That probably stung a little bit. That wasn’t my intention, but the emotional attachment to this stranger is similar and troubling. Consider my blog chemo for your emo. To me, he’s nothing more than a convenient grappling point towards much larger goal: exposing and destroying ignorance in the black community. One thing I’ve learned since I started blogging back in 2006 is that very few people give a shit about facts that contradict their myopic view of things. If what you tell me can’t stand up to intense scrutiny, then it’s bullshit.
